All participants shall shave the evening of March 1, 2017
Grow the sickest moustache you can for the next 3 weeks - ending on March 21st
You can grow a full beard until March 21st, but during the voting period you shall only have hair on the upper lip OR meet one of the following exceptions. 1) your mustache shall not directly connect to hair on your head (no beards) 2) your mustache shall not connect back on itself (ie no goatee)
We will have a bracket-based tournament like the NCAA college basketball tournament
Everyone needs to clean up their stache and be ready for a picture to be taken on March 22nd. You may take your own photo before the end of the day on March 22nd and send it to DanB
Voting will begin on March 23rd
Every day will be a round of the tournament. Going from 16 competitors, down to 8, 4, 2, and the champion
Everyone in the company can vote. The bracket will be posted in the cafe.
Until you are eliminated, you shall maintain your moustache during the entire voting period
Buy in for the tournament will be $20. The winner chooses a cause to donate the money
In addition to the winner of the bracket-based tournament, a winner will be announced for each of the following categories: (ACC)
A: Aesthetics
C: Creepiness
C: Creativity
There will also be an "honorable mention" category, exclusively created for Dustin because he seriously can not grow a moustache
If you already have a beard but did not start clean March 1 and still want to participate, there will be a pre-beard category. You still must shave down to a moustache during the voting period though.
